Overview
Titanium is a widely occurring transition metal element in nature, closely associated with iron, and there is a certain correlation between the two. Titanium in soil plays an extremely important physiological role in plants. Adequate titanium can ensure higher seed-setting rates, reduce empty or shriveled grain rates, and enhance plants' resistance to pests and diseases. This kit provides a simple, convenient, and rapid method for detecting titanium content, suitable for soil samples. The principle is that under acidic conditions, diantipyrylmethane reacts with titanium ions to form a yellow complex, which exhibits a characteristic absorption peak at 390 nm. The color intensity is proportional to the titanium ion concentration within a certain range.
