Mito-TEMPO Mito-TEMPO (MT), a mitochondria-targeted superoxide dismutase mimetic, protects against the early phase of acetaminophen (APAP) hepatotoxicity by inhibiting peroxynitrite formation. Mito-TEMPO treatment inhibits APAP-induced RIP3 kinase expression.
