Information
Myricetin, a natural flavonoid with antioxidant and anti tumor properties, is a novel inhibitor ofMEK1activity and transformation of JB6 P+ mouse epidermal cells. It also inhibitsPI3Kγwith Kd of 0.17 μM.
In vitro
Myricetin(Cannabiscetin) is a flavonoid found in many grapes, berries, fruits, vegetables, herbs, as well as other plants, which has antioxidant and anti tumor properties. Myricetin has antioxidant properties. In vitro research suggests that myricetin in high concentrations can modify LDL cholesterol such that uptake by white blood cells is increased. Studies shows that high myricetin consumption reduces the risk of prostate cancer and pancreatic cancer.
