A nomilina é um produto natural isolado de sementes de toranja e de vários citrinos. O composto Nomilin é um indutor de enzimas desintoxicantes de fase II e inibidor da carcinogénese induzida quimicamente. Observou-se que o composto tem 2,9-8,3 vezes a atividade antioxidante quando comparado com a vitamina C. Também se documentou que a nomilina inibe a injeção de VIH-1 em células mononucleares humanas. De uma forma dependente da dose, o Nomilin aumentou a atividade da GST no fígado de ratos.
