Common staining methods for plant samples include whole-mount staining and section staining. Whole-mount staining facilitates in situ labeling of staining signals at the tissue level. However, intrinsic pigments such as chlorophyll and anthocyanins within plant tissues will interfere with the observation of staining outcomes. Decolorization treatment can deliver clearer staining results.
This product features stable properties and excellent decolorizing performance, and it can be reused to a certain extent. It is designed for depigmentation after whole-mount staining of plant tissues. This reagent is only intended for scientific research and shall not be applied to clinical diagnosis or other purposes.
Operating Procedures (For Reference Only)：
1. Immerse stained plant tissue samples in Plant Tissue Decolorization Solution and incubate at 70–80℃ to thoroughly eliminate background pigmentation. Higher temperatures can optimize the decolorizing effect. Replace the decolorization solution with fresh reagent 1 to 2 times if the liquid becomes heavily discolored during treatment.
2. Observe the staining effect and take photographic records. If immediate observation is not available, fully rinse the decolorized samples with clean water and store them in Plant Tissue Preservation Solution for later examination. For long-term immersion preservation, store the samples at 2–8 ℃ and replace the preservation solution at least once every two months.
