Diacylglycerol/glycerol diacetate (DAG) is a type of glyceride located on the plasma membrane. It is composed of two fatty acid chains, covalently connected to a single glycerol molecule with the help of ester bonds.

Application：

18: 1 DG has been used as a source of diacylglycerol in the determination of diacylglycerol O-acyltransferase 1 (DGAT1). It is also used as a substrate to evaluate compounds as potential inhibitors of DGAT-1 in DGAT-1 enzyme assays. It is suitable for use with the recombinant protein His AtROP6 in lipid protein coverage screening assays.
