Descripción general

Slightly amyl alcohol odor; refractive. Miscible with ethanol and diethyl ether; soluble in about 20 parts water. Flammable; vapor may form explosive mixtures with air, lower explosive limit: 1.68% (by volume). Low toxicity; LD50 (rat, oral): 2.46 g/kg. Moderately irritating to skin and mucous membranes. High vapor concentrations may cause narcotic effects. Faint amyl alcohol odor.
