Product Introduction

This product adds SuperStain dye to the conventional 6×Loading Buffer, which is a biomacromolecule that cannot penetrate the cell membrane to enter the cell. It is a safe and non-toxic nucleic acid dye compared to the strong mutagenicity of EB. When using 6×SuperStain Loading Buffer instead of the original Loading Buffer, there is no need to add nucleic acid dyes such as EB during the gel preparation process, and all that is needed is to mix the DNA with 6×SuperStain Loading Buffer for gel electrophoresis. Since SuperStain and EB have the same spectral characteristics, there is no need to change the filter and observation device, and it can be detected under normal UV excitation, which is very convenient and flexible.

Pre-experiment Preparation and Important Notes

1. Since the dye only needs to be mixed with the DNA prior to electrophoresis and does not need to be added to the gel, the prepared gel can be preserved for a longer period of time.

2. Because the amount of dye in the Loading Buffer is much higher than the amount of dye added to the gel, it is more sensitive to DNA.

Operation steps

1. Configuration of agarose gels of appropriate concentration

2. Pipette 5μl of DNA sample and mix with 1μl of 6×SuperStain Loading Buffer, then directly electrophoresis in the sample wells for routine electrophoresis and image acquisition.
