Descripción general

Pararosaniline is a cationic triarylmethane dye and one of the components of basic fuchsin.[1] It gives a brilliant red color after dyeing polyacrylonitrile fibers.

Application:

Pararosaniline hydrochloride has been used:to prepare Schiff reagent;to stain cow endometrial cytology samples;to counterstain Prussian blue sections of mice brains.
