Soluble guanylyl cyclase (sGC) activator. Induces cGMP synthesis independent of NO. Potent platelet aggregation inhibitor (IC 50 = 36 nM). Shows antivasoconstrictive effects (IC 50 = 0.30 μM). Induces phagocytosis. Shows vasodilatory effects in vivo.
