Potent, selective AT 2 receptor ligand (K i = 0.24 nM). Shows agonist effects at proximal tubule AT 2 receptors. Inhibits Na + , K + -ATPase. Inhibits Angiotensin-II induced aortic contraction (IC 50 = 1.9 μM). Induces sodium excretion in vivo.
