Descripción general

Choerospondin is a dietary flavonoid glycoside isolated from the bark of Choerospondias axillaris and licorice. It acts as a potential α-glucosidase inhibitor and exhibits anti-proliferative, antioxidant, anti-tumor and anti-inflammatory activities. It can enhance resistance to oxidative stress and markedly suppress inflammatory responses by attenuating mitogen-activated protein kinase (MAPK) phosphorylation and nuclear factor-κB (NF-κB) activation.
