Determine the necessary mass, volume, or concentration for preparing a solution.
The CO treatment of microcrystalline cellulose sodium carboxymethylcellulose is made of microcrystalline cellulose and an appropriate proportion of sodium carboxymethylcellulose through a specific physical processing process. The appearance is white or quasi white powder, odorless and tasteless. It is dispersed in water as an insoluble colloid. Sodium carboxymethylcellulose plays a role in dispersing and protecting colloids. Insoluble in water, ethanol, acetone, toluene, dilute acid or 5% sodium hydroxide solution. Its aqueous solution has stable dispersibility and no association between molecules. It can form a hydrated network structure in a predetermined space. The solution will not be layered and precipitated after being placed for a long time.
Product characteristics
Microcrystalline cellulose sodium carboxymethylcellulose co treated material is suspended and dispersed in water in a unique way, with shear thinning, good thermal stability and thixotropy. The product has high suspension capacity, good emulsifying property and stability, which can significantly improve the stability of the suspension.
Application
It is often used in pharmaceutical suspensions, emulsions, nasal sprays and creams, and can also be used as thickening agent and stabilizer of ready to use and re soluble suspensions, emulsions and sprays.
