Descripción general

The common cell transfection reagent is a universal nucleic acid transfection reagent. It can efficiently transfect various nucleic acids such as DNA, mRNA, and siRNA into adherent cells and suspension cells, and has the advantages of high efficiency and low toxicity. It achieves high transfection efficiency for adherent cells such as HeLa, A549, and DC 2.4, as well as suspension cells such as 293 and CHO. The product is supplied as a sterile liquid.

Under normal circumstances, when used at the recommended dosage, each milliliter of this reagent can approximately transfect 200 wells of a 6-well plate, 1000 wells of a 24-well plate, and 5000 wells of a 96-well plate.

Experimental Materials:

• Common cell transfection reagent

• High-purity nucleic acid stock solution (0.5∼5 μg/μL)

• Serum-free medium (e.g., O778393 Optimal-MEM Reduced Serum Medium (with Phenol Red) ).

Quality Control:

• The shelf life is one year under storage conditions of 2-8℃, Avoid freeze/thaw cycle.

• This product has passed strict quality inspection, proving that it is free from biological contamination.

Precautions:

• Prepare the common cell transfection reagent-nucleic acid complex at room temperature, with an incubation time of 20–30 minutes. For transfection, use serum-free medium (e.g., O778393 Optimal-MEM Reduced Serum Medium (with phenol red)) and enzyme-free tubes.

• After transfecting with this product for 4–6 hours, remove the original medium and replace it with fresh serum-containing medium.

• For first-time use, it is necessary to optimize the ratio of nucleic acid concentration to the common cell transfection reagent to achieve the highest transfection efficiency. It is recommended to conduct further optimization based on the recommended product dosage.

• During transfection, use healthy cells that are properly preserved and regularly passaged, and ensure that the medium is free from bacterial, fungal, or mycoplasma contamination. If the cells are recently revived from liquid nitrogen-frozen stocks, passage them at least twice before transfection.

• After using the transfection reagent, immediately close the cap tightly to avoid prolonged exposure to air, which may affect transfection efficiency.

Example of Transfection Effect in Suspension Cells:

Transfect the cells according to the table below. Use the specified amount of nucleic acid and the corresponding common cell transfection reagent. The volume of each reaction mixture is the volume for a single well, with pipetting differences taken into account. Calculate the volumes for other wells in proportion.
