DEAE-Dextran 500 Pharmaceutical Quality,Mw,500000,is a polycationic derivative of dextran, produced from dextran with an average molecular weight >500,000 Da. DEAE-Dextran 500 Pharmaceutical Quality is produced according to current GMP guidelines, suitable for use as an Active Pharmaceutical Ingredient (API) or in pharmaceutical preparations e.g. as a vaccine adjuvant, a transfection agent for gene therapy, and as an ingredient in cholesterol lowering products.

DEAE-Dextran 500 Pharmaceutical Quality is supplied in its HCI form.
