Cell proliferation inhibitor, induces cell cycle arrest and apoptosis. Inhibits NO synthase and TNF-α in LPS-activated macrophages. Cytotoxic T lymphocyte inhibitor in vitro (IC 50 = 10 μM). Guaianolide. Immunomodulator and antitumor agent.
