Descripción general

Delphinidin chloride is a type of anthocyanin, a natural plant pigment that can be isolated from berries and red wine, and it is a precursor of certain anthocyanins. Delphinidin chloride induces the release of nitric oxide from the vascular endothelium, causing vascular relaxation. At doses ranging from 1 to 40 μM, it has an inhibitory effect on the signal transduction of epithelial growth factor receptors and the expression of estrogen receptor α, which is related to apoptosis and autophagy. Delphinidin chloride can regulate JAK/STAT3 and MAPKinase signal transduction. Delphinidin can also inhibit the histone acetyltransferase activity of p300/CBP (IC50 at approximately 30 μM).
