  When starch decomposes and hydrolyzes under the action of heating, acid, or amylase, the macromolecular starch is first converted into a small-molecular intermediate substance, namely dextrin. The main use of dextrin is as an adhesive, which aims to reduce the viscosity of starch and improve the permeability of the slurry. The 1% Dextrin Aqueous Solution is mainly composed of dextrin and deionized water, with a small amount of preservatives. It is mainly used in Oil Red O Staining Solution to prevent pigment precipitation. This reagent is for research use only and not intended for clinical diagnosis or other purposes.
