Descripción general
Endo F2 is a highly specific recombinant endoglycosidase derived from Elizabethkingia meningoseptica. It cleaves core-fucosylated biantennary complex-type and high-mannose oligosaccharides linked to asparagine residues from glycoproteins and glycopeptides. Endo F2 digests biantennary complex glycans approximately 20 times faster than high-mannose glycans. Its enzymatic activity is unaffected by the presence or absence of core fucosylation. Nevertheless, Endo F2 exhibits no activity against hybrid-type, triantennary or tetraantennary glycans.

Operating Protocol
1. Before use, take out the Endo F2 reagent and centrifuge at 10,000 rpm for 10 seconds to collect all liquid at the bottom of the tube.
2. Mix 10 µg bovine fibrinogen with 1 µL of 500 mM Sodium Acetate (pH 4.5), add Endo F2, and top up with purified water to a total reaction volume of 20 µL. Mix gently, then incubate the reaction mixture at 37°C for 1 hour.
3. Analyze the digested products via SDS-PAGE or mass spectrometry.
Remark: Incubation duration and enzyme dosage should be optimized according to practical experimental conditions.
