Descripción general

Storage buffer: 1 mM Sodium citrate, pH 6.5

EPO mRNA encodes human erythropoietin (EPO) protein, a hormone that regulates red blood cell production. EPO also plays a role in wound healing and the brain's response to nerve injury. Karikó et al. showed that after in vivo transfection of EPO mRNA, reticulocyte count and hematocrit increased significantly. As a model drug, EPO mRNA can be used to study the design and optimization strategies of mRNA drugs.

This product mimics mature mRNA with a 5'Cap 1 structure and a 3'poly(A) tail, and can be efficiently expressed both in vivo and in vitro.
