Materials and Instruments

Nitric acid EDTA Distilled water
Glassware

Move

I. Acid washing of embryological glassware

1. Place the glassware to be washed in a large container with a fume-proof cover.

2. Carefully add nitric acid to completely cover the glassware.

3. Soak overnight.

4. The next morning, carefully remove the glassware with tweezers and place it in a new container. Nitric acid can be saved and reused several times.

5. Rinse thoroughly with deionized water to remove traces of acid.

6. Rinse with 1 mmol/L EDTA and rinse with distilled water.

7. Dry for use.
