Summary

Glutathione S-transferases are enzymes that catalyze the reaction of exogenous compounds with electrophilic substituents with endogenous reduced glutathione (GSH). A variety of reactions can be catalyzed including transfer reactions of hydrocarbon, aryl, arylalkyl, alkenyl, and oxygen groups.
