Intravenous injection in dogs is mostly used in the medial cephalic vein of the forelimb (Figure 1) or the small saphenous vein of the hindlimb (Figure 2), the hair of the injection site should be clipped before injection, and the proximal end of the vein should be tightened with tape to make the blood vessels filled, and the tip of the needle should be pricked into the blood vessel from the distal end, and after there is return of blood, the needle should be fixed and the liquid should be injected slowly.
