Operation method

A Geiger counter should be left on near the work area during the experiment, and gloves should be checked at regular intervals to make sure there is no contamination. If contaminated, they should be changed immediately to avoid further spread of contamination. Wearing 32P-contaminated gloves to hold tubes/instruments is the most common way to spread contamination. At the end of the experiment, do a thorough inspection of the work area and wash off any spills.
