Plasmodium vivax thin blood film slide test

Move

A small drop of peripheral blood (from the earlobe or fingertip) was dropped on one side of a slide, another slide was taken as a pusher, one end of which was in contact with the drop of blood, so that the drop of blood was dispersed to both sides, and the angle between the two slides was maintained at an angle of 30°~45°, and the pusher was pushed forward rapidly along the surface of the slide to form a uniformly distributed film of blood, which was dried naturally and then fixed with 1~2 drops of methanol. Stain with diluted Kirschner's stain for 30 minutes, dry and examine microscopically. Or stained with Ricci's stain for 3-5 minutes, dried and examined microscopically.
