What precautions should be taken when using cell cryogenic vials?
1. Before the freezing tube is put into the liquid nitrogen tank, please make sure that the lid is screwed in place (it can feel obvious resistance, do not cause excessive force to screw teeth). The volume of the freezing liquid should be less than 80% of the working volume of the freezing tube. For example, the volume of liquid in the 2mL frozen storage tube should be less than 1.6mL.
2. The frozen storage tube needs to be kept in the gas phase of the liquid nitrogen tank, do not immersing in the liquid phase.
3. When resuscitating the frozen cells, please take personal safety precautions, wear goggles (mask is better) and anti-freezing gloves throughout the process.
Da — when not otherwise indicated, molecular weight units are daltons. Mw — weight-average molecular weight. Mn — number-average molecular weight.
