GRADE & PURITYBioactive?Bioactive grade — verified to retain biological activity in functional assays. Use when the molecule must be functionally active, not just pure.Recombinant?Recombinant — produced via recombinant expression for defined sequence and consistency. Use for reproducible, animal-free proteins of known origin.ActiBioPure™?ActiBioPure™ — Aladdin's premier line for bioactive and recombinant products. Use when both high purity and preserved biological activity are required.High Performance?High-performance grade with optimized purity and performance characteristics. Use for sensitive analyses where ordinary grades fall short.EnzymoPure™?EnzymoPure™ — Aladdin's line of high-quality enzymatic solutions. Use when enzyme purity and defined activity drive assay or process performance.≥90%(SDS-PAGE)expressed in E.coli;Protein concentration: See COA; ≥1 U/mg protein

Descripción general
GDP-mannose pyrophosphorylase (E.C. 2.7.7.13), derived from Pyrococcus horikoshii OT3.In combination with Inorganic pyrophosphatase and N-Acetylhexosamine kinase (NahK) (Cat. No. N1439304), this enzyme is used to synthesize GDP-Man, which serves as a glycosyl donor for glycosyltransferases. It acts as a tool enzyme for the synthesis of GDP-mannose and its derivatives. This product is recombinantly expressed in Escherichia coli, featuring high purity and suitability for one-pot multi-enzyme systems.
Reaction:
Protocol for Use
Add substrates to the reaction mixture, supplemented with 5 mM MgCl₂. An appropriate buffer (e.g., Tris-HCl) may be added to adjust the pH to 7.5–8.5, followed by the addition of an appropriate amount of GDP-mannose pyrophosphorylase (adjust according to reaction requirements).
Mix thoroughly and incubate the sample at 37°C for 30–60 minutes.
Note: Most common biological buffers are applicable, such as Tris or PBS. Buffers outside this pH range (e.g., acetate buffer) may also be applicable, but the incubation time or enzyme amount needs to be optimized according to actual conditions.
