Hydroxocobalamin Acetate is a physiological analog of vitamin B12 existing in an aqueous solution as an equilibrium mixture of its hydroxy isomer and the ionic aqua isomer where the CN group is replaced with OH. It is a precursor of the methylcobalamin and cobamam coenzymes.
