Descripción general

Aplicación:

N-Alil-N,N-bis(trimetilsilil)amina o N,N-bis(trimetilsilil)prop-2-en-1-amina (AHMDS) se puede utilizar como reactivo nucleofílico para preparar:

- Andamios bicíclicos complejos reaccionando con aldehídos arílicos mediante la formación de iminas seguida de reacciones multicomponente eficientes.

- Heterociclo ditiasuccinoilo (Dts) por reacción con cloruro de bistiocarbamoilo.

- Seleniuro de alilo por reacción con sal de aril selenio en presencia de un catalizador de rutenio; el seleniuro de alilo se utiliza como intermediario clave en síntesis orgánica.

El AHMDS también puede utilizarse como reactivo en reacciones de hidrosilación e hidroboración. También puede utilizarse como aditivo electrolítico.
