N-DBCO-N-bis(PEG2-acid) is a branched PEG derivative containing a DBCO and two PEG2-acid chains attached to a central nitrogen group. The DBCO group allows for the compound to participate in copper-free Click Chemistry reactions. The addition of the carboxylic acid groups allows for reactions with primary amine groups using activators such as EDC or DCC to form a stable amide bond.
