N-(t-butyl ester-PEG2)-N-bis(PEG3-azide) is a PEG derivative containing two azide groups and a t-butyl protected carboxyl group. The azide groups enable PEGylation via Click Chemistry. The t-butyl protected carboxyl group can be deprotected under acidic conditions. The hydrophilic PEG spacer increases the hydrophilic properties of the compound.
