Descripción general
1. Acridine sulfonamide salt-N-ethylamino maleimide NSP-SA-N-Mal is a highly specific and reactive biomolecular labeling reagent, suitable for labeling proteins, antibodies, or nucleic acids containing thiol groups.
2. It contains a maleimide functional group, which can form stable covalent bonds with biomolecules containing sulfhydryl (-SH) groups through an affinity addition reaction.
3. The affinity of maleimide functional groups for thiol groups is much higher than that of other functional groups containing active hydrogen, such as amino or hydroxyl groups, thus exhibiting high selectivity.
