It can delay and inhibit the production of excessive cell interleukin, thereby inhibiting some unnecessary and inappropriate inflammation and glycosylation damage.
Efficacy and Mechanism of Action
Palmitoyl tetrapeptide-7 (Rigin TM) (sequence: Pal-Gly-Gln-Pro-Arg or pal-GQPR) is a fragment of immunoglobulin G. Palmitoyl tetrapeptide-7 reduces IL-6 secretion in the basic environment and is used as an anti-inflammatory agent after exposure to UVB radiation. In vivo reflection confocal microscopy showed that the mixture of palmitoyl oligopeptide and palmitoyl tetrapeptide-7 enhanced the structure of extracellular matrix compared with placebo.
