Descripción general

Phosphoric acid is a phosphoroxycarboxylic acid, commonly used as an intermediate in chemical synthesis for the production of various phosphorus compounds.It is also used as a strong reducing agent in organic synthesis.Phosphorous acid (H3PO3, protophosphoric acid) can be used as a component in the following synthetic reactions: Mannich-type multicomponent reaction to generate α-amino methyl phosphonic acid; amideylation followed by hydrolysis to produce 1-aminoalkyl phosphonic acid; amideylation to prepare N-terminally protected α-amino phosphonic acid (phosphorus electron isomer of natural amino acids).
