Description

The main characteristic of Oligotron™PC is that it behaves as a reactive oligomer in non-volatile solvent. Used blended with monomers, or for reactions with functional compounds.Please follow this link forAedotron/Oligotron selection guide table.Poly(3,4-ethylenedioxythiophene), tetramethacrylate end-capped solution (PEDOT-Meth) is a semiconductor based polymer that is functionalized with tetramethacrylate that facilitates effective crosslinking of the conjugated films.For best results, agitate for 20 minutes prior to use. Films cast from propylene carbonate will require heat to dry. Photocurable inks can be formulated by adding acrylate monomers and photoinitiators (i.e. DMPA). Propylene carbonate will remain in the polymer. Functional compounds can be coupled to the oligomer via reactions at the methacrylate group.PEDOT-Meth can be used as a plasticizing membrane in the fabrication of ion-selective sensors and light emitting diodes.Product can be blended with additional acrylate or methacrylate monomers and crosslinked to make polymer blends. Custom molecules can be synthesized by bonding functional compounds, via the methacrylate groups, to the conducting EDOT oligomers.
