Descripción general

Procyanidin C1 (PCC1) is a natural polyphenol that can cause DNA damage, cell cycle arrest, and induce apoptosis. Procyanidin C1 reduces Bcl-2 expression in tumor cells but increases the expression of BAX, caspase 3, and 9. Procyanidin C1 exhibits senotherapeutic activity and can prolong the lifespan of mice.
