La molécula de adhesión celular epitelial (EpCAM), también conocida como antígeno GA733-2, es una glicoproteína transmembrana de tipo I compuesta por un dominio extracelular con dos repeticiones EGF-Like y una región rica en cistina, un dominio transmembrana y un dominio citoplasmático. Modula la adhesión y la proliferación celular. Su sobreexpresión se ha detectado en muchos tumores epiteliales y se ha asociado con un estadio elevado, un grado alto y una peor supervivencia en algunos tipos de tumores. We recommend that this vial be briefly centrifuged prior to opening to bring the contents to the bottom. Reconstitute at 1.0 mg/mL in sterile distilled water. Stock solutions should be apportioned into working aliquots and stored at ≤ -20 °C. Further dilutions should be made in appropriate buffered solutions.
