RNA loading buffer is used as a tracking dye during RNA electrophoresis. This dye has a slight negative charge and will migrate in the same direction as RNA, enabling the user to monitor the progress of molecules moving in the gel. The migration rate varies with the composition of the gel. Dilute the sample in 1:3 to 1:6, heat it to 65 ℃ for 10 minutes, and cool it on ice before loading. Recommended usage: add 1 volume of sample into 2 to 5 times of sample loading buffer, and mix well. Heat the sample to 65 ° C for 10 minutes, and then cool it on ice immediately before gel loading.
Product application:
RNA sample loading buffer is especially suitable for RNA electrophoresis on formaldehyde agarose gel (with or without ethidium bromide). Before Northern blot detection, ethidium bromide is not recommended for gel staining, because ethidium bromide in agarose gel or loading buffer will lead to low transfer efficiency. It is suitable to be used with formaldehyde agarose gel for Northern blot experiments.
