Descripción general
t-Boc-N-amido-PEG-CH2COOH, MW 3.4K is a PEG derivative with a t-Boc protecting group and a terminal carboxylic acid moieties. The t-Boc protecting group can be removed under acidic conditions to form a free amine. The terminal carboxylic acid can react with primary amines with activators such as EDC and DCC to form stable amide bonds. The hydrophilic PEG linker enhances the water solubility properties of the compound.
