Descripción general

(Trimethylsilyl)methanol was employed as nucleophile to resolve the racemate obtained from enantioselective esterification of naproxen (2-(6-methoxy-2-naphthyl) propionic acid) by lipases. It was also used as a nucleophilic hydroxymethylation agent.
