Preparation Method
Weigh 30.0 g of the product and add into 1 L of purified water. Heat and stir until fully dissolved, dispense into appropriate containers, then autoclave at 121℃ for 15 minutes before use.
Test Principle
Tryptone and papain digest of soybean meal in the medium supply nitrogen sources, vitamins and growth factors; dextrose serves as carbon source; dipotassium hydrogen phosphate acts as buffering agent; sodium chloride maintains balanced osmotic pressure.
Precautions
1. Wear necessary personal protective equipment during medium weighing.
2. Keep the medium away from light and moisture. Tighten the cap immediately after use to prevent caking caused by moisture absorption; discard caked product and do not use.
3. Discard used medium only after autoclaving at 121℃ for 30 minutes.
4. This product is prohibited for clinical diagnostic testing.
