El clorhidrato de YIL781 es un potente antagonista del receptor de ghrelina (GHSR). El clorhidrato de YIL781 produce una mayor mejora de la homeostasis de la glucosa en ratas. El clorhidrato de YIL-781 inhibe la respuesta del calcio inducida por la ghrelina con valores pIC50 de 7,90 y 8,27, respectivamente.
