ACD Anticoagulant (A), also known as Acid Citrate Dextrose Solution A, is mainly used for freshly drawn or frozen blood samples. This product consists of sodium citrate, citric acid and dextrose. It is sterile-filtered.
Procedure (For Reference Only):
As a blood preservation solution, mix 1.5 mL of ACD Anticoagulant (A) with 10 mL of blood, and store at 2–8 °C for up to 21 days. Scale the proportion accordingly.
Notes:
1.Aseptic operation is required to prevent contamination.
2.Wear a lab coat and disposable gloves for your safety and health during operation.
3.For research use only. Not for other applications.
