CPM is a widely used blfluorescent thiol reactive dye. It has no fluorescence characteristics. When it reacts with sulfhydryl groups, it generates fluorescence, so it can directly react the sulfhydryl content without separation steps. CPM is an ideal tryptophan energy receptor and fluorescein energy donor.
