Two seedlings of dicotyledonous plants whose top internodes were not yet fully elongated were selected and ten lines were drawn on the stems directly in small pots starting from below the growing point and spaced 2 mm apart from each other, the pots were placed in a warm place and watered frequently to keep the soil moist.The growth of the stems was observed after 3-6 days, plotted, and the distances between the lines were measured, and the results were tabulated and recorded.
