Overview
Epoxide hydrolase is an enzyme responsible for catalyzing the reaction between epoxides and water, converting epoxide groups into diols. Epoxide hydrolase plays a key role in the metabolism of environmental pollutants and lipids, contributing to detoxification, inflammation responses, and the regulation of cardiovascular system health.
