Antibodies packed in μg need to be titrated in a pre-test. We have not done any titration to find out the optimal amount of antibody to be used based on the recommended dosage, known antibody concentration, and our own cell samples, so we are unable to give a specific number of times to use the antibody.
Generally speaking, the number of times each antibody should be used in an experiment is once for a single tube and once for each whole tube (biological control and experimental group), that is to say, each antibody should be added at least 3 times in an experiment.
Da — when not otherwise indicated, molecular weight units are daltons. Mw — weight-average molecular weight. Mn — number-average molecular weight.
