Vue d’ensemble

Le polyéthylène glycol fonctionnalisé au maléimide, PEG maléimide, est un dérivé PEG réactif au groupe sulfhydryle (thiol/SH) qui peut être utilisé pour modifier sélectivement les protéines, les peptides ou toute autre surface comportant des groupes sulfhydryles disponibles. La réaction entre le maléimide et le thiol se produit facilement à un pH de 6,5~7,5 pour former des liaisons thioéther stables.
