This product is a Giemsa-based staining solution for malaria parasite detection. Giemsa is a combined basic-acidic mixed dye that differentially stains the nuclei and cytoplasm of malaria parasites in blood smear samples: the parasite nuclei appear purplish-red, the cytoplasm appears light blue to blue-purple, and erythrocytes appear pale pink. It is suitable for microscopic examination of malaria parasites in blood smears, and can also be used for morphological staining observation of Toxoplasma, Mycoplasma, and blood cells. During staining, the solution should be diluted with a buffer of appropriate pH, as pH significantly affects staining quality. Stained smears should be examined promptly under the microscope. The staining solution contains methanol and is irritant; appropriate protective measures should be taken during operation to avoid skin and mucosal contact. For research use only.
