This product is Malachite Green (also known as Basic Malachite Green) indicator, a basic triphenylmethane dye. It serves multiple purposes including acid-base indication and microbial staining, and is widely used in chemical experiments, microbiological testing, industrial analysis and other fields. The product meets laboratory-grade purity standards, features sensitive color change and good stability, and can meet the needs of various routine experiments.
Application:
This product is a two-color indicator that displays different colors under different pH conditions with high sensitivity. Its specific color change ranges are as follows:
Acidic range: pH 0.0–2.0, color gradually changes from yellow to blue-green;
Alkaline range: pH 11.0–13.5, color gradually fades from blue-green to colorless.
Special note: It appears yellow under strong acidic conditions (pH < 2), and the blue-green color gradually fades to colorless under strong alkaline conditions (pH > 11).
Precautions:
1. For your safety and health, please wear a lab coat and disposable gloves during operation.
2. This product is for research use only and strictly prohibited for other purposes.
